Last year I tried sprouting brocccoli seeds but they turned sort of bad after a few days (while sprouting) and was not delicious .. How to avoid them turning bad?

I sprout all the time, just soak for 4-6 hours then drain and rinse them off twice a day (every 12 hours ish). if you want them to turn green let them get sun after a couple days. I just use a jar and cheese cloth with filtered water. sometimes they can look moldy/fuzzy, but its just the roots reaching out for water and they go back after a rinse. I accidentally threw out some batches before knowing this.

But yours dont start to smell? I also rinsed them every 12 hour.

Thinking about trying with some added citric acid.

No mine never start to smell.... I wonder why yours would?

I live in a very humid environment and in a basement as well so I would think I would be a likely candidate for that type of thing....

Sure the glass jar is completely clean? seeds are from a reputable source? None of them potentially already rotten?
