Best way to deliver vit C to the skin...

Hi All,

I have recently begun to develop some brown spots on my arms that are often exposed to light. These aren't the typical freckles and appear more like age spots, despite the fact I'm a little young to be developing these, perhaps an overall high level of oxidative stress.

But my question is, is there a way to deliver Vit C to the skin in a way that would actually increase levels there enough for the purpose of protecting my skin throughout the day?

I understand that part of the key to achieving absorption is eliminating the charge of the ascorbic acid, but I'm unaware of what can achieve this? Would simply applying ascorbic acid in water do the trick or does it require something else? I've heard lemons are wonderful for this, but again, the same issue, is it really absorbing?
