Whenever I try the Ortho Antioxidant Boost I have bad diarrhea and pain in my back area. I believe it's the Cucurmin in the mix that give me this reaction. Could it possibly be a good sign?. Would this subside with continual use?. Any explanations for this?.

Some detox is expected, but the back pain seems unusual. One question is whether this will subside in time. If it continues to persist by the time you reach half of the bottle would discontinue it.

Hey Decro,

I've searched a bit on Google for Curcumin and back-pain, and only seem to get positive hits that it assists with lower back pain.

However, I did find some hits regarding Turmeric (Curcumin) causing diahrrhea:

http://www.livestrong.com/article/440553-does-turmeric-cause-diarrhea/

Note: The above link specifically mentions that if you use Turmeric in food, it's not enough to cause diarrhea, but in supplements of 500mg (as we use), some people experience diarrheic symptoms.

Just curious--when do you take your Antioxidant Boost capsules, and how many at a time?

Antioxidant Boost Empty Re: Antioxidant Boost

I might have made it sound a little less harsh than it was in my first post, but I actually have only used the antioxidant boost once because of the intense reactions I had that time. I knew straight away that it that it was the Cucurmin, because I had the exact same reaction to it before. Now the question is why it affects me so much rather than other people?. It could be a good sign for all I know, but I would be suffering the effects all day if I take it again.

In regards to the back pain, it was located around the kidney area...

Has anyone else had this reaction?.
Anymore information?.
