Getting over the flu
The last two days I have been battling the flu, first time in three years... Today I am finally able to keep fluids and bland foods down, when is a good time to start taking supplements again?

Re: Getting over the flu
I never quit the supps when I was getting a cold/flu, so...I was thinking that some IH supps (antioxidants) actually help the body dealing with the flu?
What worked really well for me last time was oregano oil and vit C (high dosage -20 -30 grams/day), if that is of any help, but you should start those at the first symptoms, you are already in it since two day ago.
Anyway, only once in three years = pretty good statistics

I only quit the supplements because I could not keep anything down, and thought it would just make things worse, or just puke them out a few minutes later.
Come to think of it and perhaps a coincidence, I use to take this http://www.youngliving.com/natural-health-supplements/Inner-Defense during the flu season or when I was around ill people or feeling of the set of a cold/flu. Didn't have it this time around but my mother gave me a bottle for christmas, just a few days short.

Re: Getting over the flu
I'm feeling sick for the past three days. Feels like the "stomach flu".
What is most unbearable is the constant feeling of nausea where I feel like I'm teetering over the edge to vomit.
Knowing what we know about flu and so-called "viruses", what can I do/take to accelerate my recovery to normalcy?

5 to 10 grams of Vitamin C every 10 minutes until illness is alleviated.
The basic idea of viruses (which do not exist), is that reactive oxygen species, better known as free-radicals or oxidative stress are the bodies reaction to "them" but in reality reactive oxygen species are the result of lifestyle, foods, sleep quality, and toxic exposure.
