Help, my cat bit me! vaccine?

I got bit by my cat, and it's swollen and painful (48hrs since bite). 4hrs after bite swollen area was 1" in diameter now it's double.

I'm wondering if I need a tetanus shot as I haven't had one in over 10yrs. But I worry about the heavy metals.

What can I do to help fight this infection without getting the shot? I've taken extra vit C, applied topical crushed garlic and essential oils and today an antibiotic ointment.

Don't use oil on a wound xD just dissinfect and leave it alone.....don't use a bandage or anything else

You dont need a shot for a cat bite. Just treat the wound with peroxide and something like neosporin (dont hate).

Thanks. The wound itself close up quickly, no bleeing, it healed.. I've applied what i mentioned topically over the close cut and swollen area. They say one needs a tetanus shot every 10yrs, i havent had one in like 20.

Toxoplasma gondii is one concen from cat scratches and bites.

My own guess is that Colloidal Silver, Iodine, Oregano oil (sublingual) are good treatments for this.
