NAC a drug?

Hi
I ordered NAC from iHerb, and apparently it got taken in customs. I got a letter saying that they wouldn't allow that drug into the country. Is NAC also regarded as a drug in the US?

No, it is available OTC as a supplement. Since NAC is present naturally in food, and is generally regarded as safe (GRAS), its sale is not regulated.
