Black Tea vs. Green Tea: Which is better for MPB?
I know CS made a thread a while back stating how the theaflavins in black team might be better suited for dealing with the androgen mediated oxidative damage that is MPB than green tea but what is the consensus now?
My supplement regimine is rather full atm and I can't afford to take extracts of both (however I do plan on drinking both when I can be bothered). Any input would be welcomed.

I'm a big green tea drinker, have been drinking it for years sans sugar and milk, and it hasn't had an effect of progressive hair loss. Imho, drink one or the other if you like, for the general benefits, and not with an eye of improving hair.

I think you would have to drink a lot for it to have an effect on your hair (10+ cups a day?) which is why I'm also going to take a concentrated extract.

Also should we be concerned about the fluoride and aluminum content in green and black teas?

This can be avoided by drinking organic.
Given how much fluoride we put in our bodies, any chance of reducing it should be taken in my opinion. I'll drink non-organic here and there, but primarily organic.

I drink green tea 5 times a day, and I have not experienced any excessive hair loss.

green because it tastes better especially japanese genmaicha plus matcha with a touch of stevia. Oolong tastes sweet too for a middle of the road since it's antioxidants/flavanols I'd imagine would be in between black and green.
