IH -- This product can't be for real. Did you see the before and after photo's? Those kind of results are astounding.

Why would this topical have the potential to regrow hair like that?

hadrion - I figure that some of those testers could suffer from other forms of alopecia, rather than typical MPB, such as telogen effluvium and alopecia areata.

I get a little suspicious because most topicals have impressive photos to support claims, however the literature attached to Virile Mane is interesting.

Did anyone see a buy link? I didn't.

I'll be a guinea pig and test out a bottle of this. I need some kind of topical that can kick some regrowth into happening.

I'll report back on this and let you guys know if I wake up looking like Elvis.

I did Fabao formula 101 for awhile with no major results. You get the illusion of thicker hair because of the alcohol base which adds deceptive volume, but after several months I was not terribly impressed.

I'm going to try it too. I think I read on another forum that 1 bottle lasts up to 3 months.

I'll give it a try as well. I'm really hungry for something new as -- now being almost a year off Propecia -- my hair loss is becoming really apparent. I am still on minox, however (Xandrox 5% to be exact), and this statement from the Virile Mane doc. is not exactly reassuring:

"Minoxidil efficacy is rather unpredictable, thus mimetics of this pathway were not included in our formula. There should be no interference with concurrent usage with our produce, but it is not recommended."

I just got my bottle of this today. It's a pretty large bottle. The stuff inside looks like mustard, lol.

I'm going to try it tonight after my post workout shower and I'll keep updating in here if I see any kind of results.

The nice thing was the company that sold it to me, nutraplanet, gave me a free protein shaker with the purchase when I opened the box.

We shall see what happens.

Just a thought from this product's website, concerning their personal tips about Diet :

"Organic foods have no solid support in the literature as being better than non-organic. Some research actually suggests the opposite. Save your money."

BULLSHIT. asbestos, X rays, cellphones waves etc... are not harmful, it's obvious....So save your money, and spend it with our product ( subliminal language)

though that doesn't mean this topical does not work !

I am using this along with Mag Oil in my shampoo.

Can you style your hair regularly after using Virile Mane? Does it absorb into the scalp well?

Ganny - other reports say it is greasy (it does have emu oil in it), and yes the emu oil will allow it to absorb well.
I'm temped to order a bottle, although nothing in it looks very impressive.
Raspberry Ketone - Something new, but doesn't look very promising.
Apple Polyphenols - I think I saw maybe one positive report from someone who regrew maybe 4 hairs in one spot.
L-carnitine-L-tartrate - Been using this in Active-M, haven't seen any good feedback from anyone using it.
Rooibos Extract - I'm not sure of the studies behind this or how it's supposed to work. Is it the same as blood of the dragon? I'm already using that.
Emu oil - Very few results from people with this one.
