Pork? I tend to avoid it, but not for nutritional reasons. Instead, it's because of a gnarly experience I had.
The story: I was at this girl's house, and she made pork ribs for us. As I chewed on my second bite, I felt something squirm in my mouth. When I looked down at my food, I saw worms slowly rising out of the pork meat. As I staggered to the kitchen with a plate full of parasites, I almost upchucked my food...that was pretty much the end of pork & LA-Night, haha

Most pork meat I've tried is pretty good. That was the only time it grossed me out.
It's not as bad as the time we got KFC & noticed actual maggots in the chicken...now THAT was ugly.
