Herbs to balance adrenal

Hello,

I would like to give a try to an herb that will normalize my adrenal, but that will not lower (or higher) cortisol by itself, like PS, just balance the adrenal.

I have some maca right now and give it a try later.

Here are the herbs I have found:

Maca
Rhodiola
Siberian Ginseng
Ashwagandha

I'm not well on glandular.
I would like something that I could take through the day, to help the balancing. If any feeback, I would be glad.

after a research, I will give a try to maca, Ashwagandha, schisandra, and siberian ginseng.

I'm on this too - I think it's a great blend--to anybody who's interested, if you check out the product page (the pdf) on Gaia herbs website it explains what each herb in the formulation does for the adrenals.

I don't know for rhodiola, some poeple don't like it. Holy basil is not potent enough for me.

Maca has an effect, but I need to try it longer.

I prefer to buy herbs separetly, mix them if needed, to found out which one is the more potent.

I have written about this in other threads before: you cannot treat adrenals blindly. Adrenals have various stages of failure and based on your state the treatment is somewhat different.

I'm low in the morning, and high from noon until morning. So a lot of insomnia.

so you need to increase cortisol in the AM and reduce it at night.

Get some PS for night time and try different doses and see how it does....

I took this for about 15 days and ever since my body has not handled stress the same way. I am constantly on the verge of panic. As mentioned above, I am aware of the multiple stages of adrenal failure. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should try now by analyzing the contents of the above supplement that has seemingly taken me off course?

I have been using Maca with good success since past two months. First month, I started with the pills and later shifted to raw maca powder. This time I gonna order the gelatinized maca. Other than that I am also planning to start off with raw glandulars.

What have your results been? Has the maca been beneficial to you?

I just ordered a 1 lb bag of raw maca powder. Hope it helps.
