CS, question about antinuclear antibodies Empty CS, question about antinuclear antibodies

What do you recommend to do about ANA's (homogeneous pattern)? They are affecting my thyroid, but my only symptoms are hairloss and night sweats. My ferritin levels are also a bit high. I've read that going gluten free can be beneficial to thyroid ANA's.

Thanks

big mike - Where antinuclear antibodies are concerned, this is often indicative of mercury intoxication, which is a sure way to get Hashimoto's. Approximately 95% of a hypothyroid patients actually have Hashimoto's, so the answer here is sufficient iodine intake, and the proper measures concerning mercury exposure (the teeth primarily).

Do ANA's typically go away? I know that with the right measures Hashimoto's can be defeated, contrary to what most doctors say.
