My friend linked me to this and at first I thought "wow it sounds great for things like malaria and cancer (as well as some other possibly cancer treatments/cures she was pointing me at!) but it probably won't help too much with hair loss..." and then I remembered what you said CS about bacteria maybe playing a role?

Anyway, enough from me hehe, let me know what you think!

I mean I know it says about oxidizing and stuff but... that is just to the anaerobic "bad" cells right, like the bacteria and stuff? I think the idea is it doesn't harm any good stuff as that's aerobic? Anywho! Let me know what you think guys, and I'm looking forward to hearing CS's view!

Hoppipolla - There's an old patent that uses a similar derivative, but how well it works is hard to say. Based on the feedback, I'm not too certain. Note that it was used topically. For internal use, it's possible but have not explored that too any great extent. I have some of this at home and have tried it. It's powerful stuff for sure.

Regarding bacteria, Ecklonia cava and optimized levels of vitamin D (makes antimicrobial peptides) seems to be the way to go.

Since we are talking about vitamin d, CS, is it essential to expose ones head to sunlight during "tanning" ?

NrwgnKID - I'm not really sure. For instance, natural sunlight emits certain wavelengths of light such as in the 633 nanometer, which is good for skin, collagen and elastin (anti-wrinkle). Then there is another spectrum that is in the range of 417-419 nanometers. I'm not sure if science understands everything in this regard yet.

Of course if you're using an artificial sun tanner, then they have information available on what wavelengths are emitted for for what general purposes.
