exorcist movie is 50 yrs old

I saw it when it first came out in theatres. I was more scared from the hype of it being so scary while waiting in line than I was watching the picture. It was more of a gross-out movie to me than any emotional scare. My logical side still persists and wonders why does the devil take so much glee in tormenting a single soul when he could be starting wars and tormenting and killing thousands of innocent people for his belly laughs. Maybe he thinks humans are better at that than him.

The devil already torments thousands and millions of people.

It is the devil that inspires people in power with evil ideologies.

It is the devil that motivates the pharmaceutical companies to create harmful vaccines, medications etc

It is the devil that escalates events unnecessary leading to war. The mastermind of the military industrial complex is the devil.

When one comes face to face with the Truth, one must reverently bow down.

There is no point in arguing with the Truth or against the Truth. There are no versions of the Truth.

That's the thing. The devil vs human nature. Since we are already born sinners as a result of adam and eve disobeying god we really don't need the devil lol.

I'm still trying to figure this out. Demonic possession like in the movie is one thing. But what's the difference between adam and eve being persuaded by the serpent...and just having an evil urge pop into your mind? We can blame a tendency to want to sin on our "inherited" original sin. But what made adam and eve want to sin? They weren't born with original sin like we are. Curiosity maybe? But being curious isn't really a sin, is it? In a way original sin is like an inherited gene for baldness. We can either let it happen or try to avoid it the best we can with topicals and supplements.
