Hashimotos
I got my annual blood test done and the lab doc told me that everything was normal except my thyroid antibodies were a bit elevated which could eventually lead to hashimotos. My dad had thyroid issues which he now takes thyroid meds for. I am going to start going on a better diet but I also believe Iodine is a good supplement to push for this? Thanks

Re: Hashimotos
I'll post later sometime. I reversed my partners hashimotos using a protocol. Also with her recent blood test she is showing no antibodies.

Usually within the first 6-months taking iodine has a good chance of causing a stir if the doctor runs tests, because it can easily elevate TSH, but this occurs without any clinical symptoms. The body is seeking an equilibrium point. Eventually it will normalize. Companion nutrients are warranted and, there are some medications that can cause issues.
Every person is different, so the amount of iodine will be different. Always start very slow, as nearly everyone will have some things occur if they go too quickly, thyroid issues or not.
Assuming the information is still here, lots of posts within the last 14 years on this subject if you use the "google search, not the inside search section.
Iosol generally needs a lot less than using Iodoral/Lugol's, because of organification requirements.
Lots of people have reported iodine or not that when they drop grains and/or carbohydrates, their Hashimoto's vanishes in time. Wouldn't doubt that glyphosate has a lot to do with it, as it's found in grain foods especially.
