hey,

ive been following the PM users to see if it has helped them, but it seems like most have stop taking it. Just wondering if there is anyone out there taking it and how it hows helped them. also nidhogge, how much PM is in the 112 degree you are taking?

1....

I suspect its more that those that have had good results will post far less often. Unfortunately the nature of hair loss forums (even good ones like this one) is that those with the most success will post the least.

You will hear far more from guys and girls who have not been successful with PM so are looking for alternatives. Remember a lot of people will also read, but not post.

Its often only seasoned hair-loss sufferers, or those who have a real interest in nutrition, herbs etc. that will post good results. The rest will take the supps/pills/topicals, forget about their hair and focus on other things.

A while back I was on 500mg PM a day as my main form of androgen control for a few months and it was a mistake. Lots of diffuse thinning all over. I strongly recommend against relying upon it for DHT suppression.

I'm now on low-dose finasteride/arimidex 3x per week, and stopped losing hair. Hopefully it'll thicken back up.

I think like many treatments its effectiveness depends on the individual. I noticed huge improvements in my hair quality and strength in a very short time while using Ainterol 500mg EOD. My scalp health improved and hair loss was basically neglible. However I also developed sensitive nipples so stopped using it. Within a matter of 10 days my scalp health and hair quality worsened and hair loss accelerated again.

I have recently begun taking 112 degrees instead 2x daily as directed on the packaging. I think I remember Nid saying that was 80mg of PM (not sure if thats 80mg daily or per tablet). Anyway, within a few days my hair feels stronger again and scalp feels like it used to before I began to lose hair. So far no sides that I can perceive. Hopefully that lasts.

Apparently I am really sensitive to these types of hormonal supplements. Makes me think maybe I'd be better off just leaving things well enough alone, except I actually FEEL better while using the 112 degrees. I think these supplements effect everyone slightly differently as we are all different and our endocrine systems are all set a little differently. FWIW I am 46 years old and very fit, however recently noticed things (in additon to hair loss) that makes me think I am beginning to deal with andropause. This makes me a lot different than a guy in his 20s with mpb.

I don't know how aggressive my hair loss would be at this point without treatments, so it's hard to say. I strongly believe that it's not the magic bullet for young MPB sufferers that people here are making it out to be.

Through my experiences with 7-hmr and PM, I really don't support the use of these phytoestrogens. There is evidence that they caused an overall estrogenic effect in my case (although I've been unable to find studies confirming this). I've gone the opposite route now and started taking 0.25mg arimidex 3x per week. After 6 months I'll reevaluate how my hair is doing.

Lately, I've been losing hair and I haven't been taking PM. However, I've also been eating Chinese food daily since I'm staying in Flushing for a month, and have been lazy with remembering to bring my R-Lipoic Acid and Benfotiamine with me to my meals (ran out of NAC and ALCAR). Couple that with high humidity resulting in a lot more than usual sebum and a week off the laser helmet, and then a lot of it makes sense...hah.

112Degrees is the safe bet for PM, 80mg a day and other beneficial herbs. When you mess with Ainterol, please do be careful...start off with one capsule, every other day, for over a month. Keep careful notes of your body and how you're responding. 112Degrees may result in an improved libido, haven't experienced any negs on it.

What's your daily dosage? Ainterol-PM?

Good post from Nid.
We should be very carefully handling PM, as it seems especially PM from Ainterol.
I' ve got my PM order today and I'm going to apply it very conservative, starting with 80 mg
each day, no higher concentration. May be using PM-extract only as a topical is the best choice?
Can't give a statement about this, cause I' m not experienced enough with the stuff.

1 pill of PM a day... But I actually don´t think that PM is negative for my hair.
Maybe I´m in a shed period..
But I can´t see any positive changes...
I started to use PM 27th May...
Maybe it´s too early to make some (positive X negative) decisions about it...

tommmash,
let me guess you're using PM from ainterol that means 500 mg each day.
I would like to ask you what's your estimation about PM? Do you shed or not?

In other words: In my opinion PM is actually in the test phase and it seems
that 500 mg each day could be too much. May be you slow down your daily dosage.
At the moment I'm myself very undecided what to do. Take it or leave it?
As said before, may be the topical PM-alternative could be a good choice?

Crusher--

I'd like to take the chance to reiterate--every other day for Ainterol PM for at least a month. Everyone will experience different results.

I'd give PM a good 3 to 6 months to work its magic. I've been using it for the better part of a year.

Well, I do shed!
Likely in the same way like before using...
Maybe much more..
But I´ll continue one more month at least.
1 Pm seems like right dosage.
Thanks.
