Green tea is one of those things you can find a study for nearly everything, here is one showing an increase in testosterone: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3703584/
Back when I researched it I seemed to find more evidence it lowered T, than increased it.

I remember reading a lot on green tea on HT forum before. There is a synergistic relationship between green tea and soy isoflavones. If I recall correctly, green tea by itself increases both T and DHT. However, when green tea is taken along with soy isoflavones, it decreases DHT while increasing SHBG. Not sure what mechanisms they are involved in to produce these contradicting results though.sizzlinghairs wrote:Thanks to anyone in the know!

Soy is the one natural that doesn't attract wild animals, they avoid it.
Traditional methods of soy involve fermentation methods to remove the anti-nutrients.
As for green tea, it has a rich history. Drugs are altered molecules that do not exist in nature. Instead of a full composite that is self-regulating, a drug uses an isolated structure and is not compatible with nature.
Soy rose to "fame" because of its push for profit, it's one of the naturals--again that animals know to avoid.
Research continues to show caution with it.
As for EGCG, wouldn't sweat it in the least.
