painkillers Empty painkillers

I don't mean the heavy duty ones like oxy...but I get sore muscles a lot from wear and tear at work and the only thing that helps is aspirin or tylenol. I tried potassium and magnesium before in case it was lactic acid build-up but it didn't do much if anything. I think it's just inflamation from overuse. Tylenol seems to be safe if you don't take more than prescribed but even if you take just a couple a day over a long time I wonder if you are slowly damaging your liver. Aspirin helps me a lot but even that may have consequences on your stomach lining...even though I've never felt anything bad on it yet. What would be safer...one or two tylenol a day or an aspirin a day for long term use?

Thanks. That paints aspirin in a pretty positive light. I could take excedrin that has both aspirin and acetaminaphen in it. Getting the best of both I suppose.

Btw, I was reading about some rare cases where people taking tylenol and also folic acid daily experienced abnormal hair growth. Might be an experiment to try sometime if all else fails.
