Allergies (drinking) Empty Allergies (drinking)

Post  RKERR9 Sun Mar 08, 2015 5:58 am

I'm still searching for a cure for my allergies, they are particularly bad after a night of drinking, or if I have certain foods (milk and gluten), but alcohol definitely makes things a lot worse.   Does anyone know why this might be?  My sinuses are blocked and I feel foggy and sneeze a lot.  It never used to happen when I was younger and I didn't used to get hangovers at all.

We brit's like a drink, and I have to for my job - which is a pain - does anyone have any ideas how I can get around this with some clever supplement choices?

Thanks a lot for any advice.

Liver protection:
NAC before and after drinking (not during).
Silymarin

After drinking:
a good b complex
every other vitamin (vitamin a, e, magnesium, selenium, iodine)
Take every day: vitamin d3 5000ui

Alcohol flushes out vitamins (especially b)

Vitamin C is your best fried for allergies, it helps with sinuses and reduces histamine. Take 1 gram as needed.

Use a salt water nasal spray, try xylitol and colloidal silver nasal sprays if you think you have an infection.

Look into sulforaphane.
