Re: Gar Null Hair Loss Study
Agreed. Let's just say, if someone came to me and said "I want to pick up a healthy exercise routine," I definitely would not suggest an intense endurance plan such as marathoning...

The sprinter Dwain Chambers in that picture was banned for life from the olympics for steroid use. His physique really isn't the picture of perfect health either, although it is visually impressive.

I don't think I've read one post here that expressed this regarding diet, or exercise.
I'm glad that this forum has members with varied interests and insights. In the diet department: carnivores and at least one raw food guy. For exercise, a yoga guru (ahem), weight lifters, runners, etc.
Personally, I'd prefer not to contribute to a discourse rooted in emotion and vendetta.

Vendetta? Lol. Your hypersensitivity is flaring up again, Gib. The comment you quoted was in reference to how I resent that people think they are going to get fit by doing a marathon. The comment was a comment on the mainstream conceptions of health held by most lay people and the media. The idea, briefly stated, is that fat (esp. saturated fat) is the devil and that you must do heavy amounts of cardiovascular exercise to be "fit." You are creating problems where there isn't one.

It's your subtext: you write it; I read it. Simple as that. If the subtext were absent, I probably would not have retracted my brief support for your agenda.

There's no agenda, dude. And I'll try not to cry myself to sleep tonight over the fact that you don't support me, lol.

You're not making any sense. Put down the bottle, Gib; you're embarrassing yourself. (And, from what I understand, ruining your teeth!)
