Do Collagen Peptides supplements actually work?

For some reason I have never taken Collagen supplements seriously. I consider them to be a waste of money.

I've come across websites mentioning them like they are the best thing to take though.

What do you guys think? Do collagen peptide supplements help increase collagen?

What about supplements relating to elasticity of the skin?

So far any supplement in this area seem negligible or not noticeable.

Waste of money, you can only get better from within, aka by producing.

My take on collagen is that although there is significant literature showing their benefits, the scattered science and high price-point keeps collagen from reaching that critical point where its use is widespread.
