Dry scalp and hair Empty Dry scalp and hair

Post  Amaranthaceae Mon Jul 28, 2008 1:25 am

After an episode of intense stress for 2-3 months, my scalp has been dry since.

A few weeks ago I was sitting in a wonderful summerhouse in Sweden and just enjoying
days of vacation. No stress at all anymore. But it feels like my scalp has still not recovered
from the stressful months that I went through.

Durting those days my skin would break out in rashes, that could be triggered from the sun
even though I was wearing a long sleeved shirt. Also supplements could trigger it. It was
a horrible time, and it contributed to making the stress worse. I was also having neck
and shoulder pains and muscle contractions and burning sensations on the outside my left leg. All these symptoms
resolved and went away when I got stress and anxiety under control.

But my scalp is still affected. Anyone has got any suggestions to how to calm my scalp, so that it
too will start going back to normal? Before the stressful time my hair and scalp was at its best.

Cpio,

have you tried adding GLA to your regime? Evening primrose oil, black currant oil, borage oil, or spirulina?

Hey, thats a good idea! GLA is supposed to be super for the skin. Thanks man, I'll try it.

Also want to try the Hoaggie laser, but damn, I think his prices went up recently?
