Ugly wrinkle... Empty Ugly wrinkle...

Post  steve215 Tue Jan 10, 2012 6:13 am

Ahhh the cold winter has dried up my skin so much that I devolved a big ugly laugh line on one side of my mouth..

I tried derma-roler but that actually made my skin even more dry!

Tried all kinds of moisturizers but nothing worked.

Laser is out of the question because too risky for me. Sad

Any remedies for this?

Have you tried topical coconut oil?

LOL, just fixed that.

I tried this on the advice on this forum on a very dry and cold night and it worked quite well.

Nope, didn't try coconut oil yet, will try it now.

I tried olive oil, castor oil, emu oil, and walnut oil. None worked.

Did not try a collagen supplement yet but...

What would cause a 28 year old guy to lose collagen this early in life? Bad digestion?

Good info here on which foods promote collagen:
http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=fightdz&dbid=6

One thing they don't mention is diatomaceous earth, which definitely promotes collagen formation:
http://diatomaceousearthfoodgrade.info/beauty-product-and-diatomaceous-earth.html

These foods are also great for hair, of course.

I just started taking a collagen supplement myself. But then I'm quite a bit older than 28
and you might not need that yet.

Face exercise will also help diminish the smile lines. In fact, I've concluded that exercising the face is crucial to the 'youthing' process. And usually is a whole lot more effective and healthier than any amount of plastic surgery.

Raising pregnenolone by diet or supplementation should help prevent and reserve wrinkles.
