I heard kava is great for stress and anti-anxiety but is illegal in the UK. Also any connection to EC?

The whole story with kava kava was a pharma targeted (who owns the media) attack without any direct evidence of harm.

The reason is because kava kava was only guilty by association when taken with known liver toxic drugs.

The National institutes of health concluded that the risk of liver damage from taking a kava kava supplement is less than one in one million.

Regarding the "other" cava, there is no relation. And speaking of Ecklonia cava, it is liver protective.

Both "cavas" are safe to use.
